Before beginning the activities, families and educators are encouraged to download the developmental screening form in their preferred language. This tool helps identify the child’s strengths, support needs, and current developmental level, making it easier to select activities that are meaningful and appropriate.
Families and educators can also download free activity pack PDFs (43 activities) in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. These practical, play-based activities are designed to support communication, learning, social skills, independence, and overall development at home and in the classroom.
Children learn best through everyday experiences, play, repetition, movement, and meaningful interaction. Use real objects, songs, routines, games, and simple step-by-step instructions adapted to each child’s level and pace. Encourage communication, participation, social interaction, independence, and exploration throughout the day.
